Where to find the terms for your stay

The cancellation terms of the property you book are shown in the policies section of the property page, in the summary before you confirm, and in your booking confirmation. Those terms take precedence over the general information on this page.

Default terms and right of withdrawal

If a property has not set its own cancellation terms, the following default terms of this website apply: Full refund for cancellations made at least 30 days before check-in, or within 15 minutes of booking. Cancellations made later than that are not eligible for a refund.

Accommodation booked for specific dates is exempt from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Art. 16(l) Directive 2011/83/EU; in Austria §18(1)(10) FAGG). The cancellation terms above apply instead.

How to cancel or change a booking

Contact us by email at office@host-it.at and include your booking reference and the name used for the booking. We confirm every cancellation or change in writing; the time we receive your message determines which cancellation terms apply.

Changes to dates or number of guests depend on availability and may change the price. If a change is not possible, you may cancel under the terms of the property and book again.

Refunds

Refunds follow the cancellation terms of the property and are returned through the payment method you used. Once we have processed a refund, it usually appears within a few business days depending on your bank or payment provider. Any non-refundable amounts are stated in the property's terms.

Late payment and no-shows

If a payment is not received by the date stated in your confirmation, the reservation may be released. If you do not arrive and have not cancelled, the cancellation terms of the property apply.

Cancellation by the operator

In the rare case that the operator of your property has to cancel your booking, for example because the property becomes unavailable, you are offered a comparable alternative or a full refund of the amounts paid.
